Samadi Bali

Jl. Padang Linjong 39, Echo Beach Canggu, Bali

Samadi Bali offers yoga for every one healthy home-made food and integrated treatments in a unique space dedicated to radical wellbeing and self-empowerment.
Samadi Bali specializes in Ashtanga Yoga and invite you to come learn the traditional way we call “Mysore Style”.

A yoga class will leave you feeling energized and peaceful. A weekly session will begin to work away chronic discomforts such as low-back or neck pain. And a daily practice will transform your life making you an ordinary being in an extraordinary world.

We bring in the best teachers who have trained extensively in the ashtanga method to ensure the highest quality yoga.

We also offer other yoga styles to suit a variety of levels and mindsets, Hatha yoga, yoga therapy, yoga for surfing and yin yoga.

Samadi Bali is a kitchen lab for healthy foods and happy bellies. We experiment mixing sunny european cuisine with gourmet uncooking and home-grown ingredients. The results are often surprising and delicious. Enjoy a young coconut after yoga or join us for family-style brunch.

Samadi is also a hub for alternative health, healing and beyond. We offer treatments and courses for your bodymind ranging from Balinese massage, to therapeutic bodywork, chakra balancing, cranio-sacral therapy, trauma and stress release and life-coaching.

Named after the birthplace of the ashtanga system in Mysore, south India; This is the traditional method for learning, deepening and perfecting your ashtanga practice. A private class in a group setting, the teacher doesn’t lead the whole group but holds the space for the practitioners, beginners and advanced together, to learn and refine their own practice. As a beginner you will be taught one pose at a time in order to integrate the information, gradually learn the sequence and develop your personalised yoga practice. You are invited to repeat over and over until a sense of flow and poise is attained. Eventually the teaching becomes more subtle allowing the practice itself to be your guide. First timers and beginners are required to sign up for a week in order to learn the foundational elements of the practice.
A way to get first acquainted with the ashtanga sequence, the teacher directs the class and takes the time to explore the fundamentals of the method. Level 1 for beginners and level 2 for more intermediate students.
A softer approach to explore your inner landscape through yoga poses (Asanas), breathing exercises (Pranayama) and meditations.
A young therapeutic modality created by french osteopath Rolland Combes in 2003. Wuo Tai combines osteopathy, Thai massage and Chinese medicine with sufi and taoist philosophies to facilitate movement on all the systems of the body: joints, muscles, visceral, connective tissues, structures and meridians. A dance of gentle circular manipulations releases knots and stretch tissues for highly enjoyable relaxation and wellbeing or for deep therapeutic work. Effective for low back or neck pain, muscle strains, yoga injuries, surfing injuries and everything in between..
Balinese massage is a local art influenced by the traditional medicine systems of India, China, and Southeast Asia. Balinese massage techniques include acupressure, skin rolling and flicking, firm and gentle stroking, percussion, and use of essential oils. The combination of manual therapy and aromatherapy is intended not only to relax you and loosen fascial restrictions, but to stimulate the lymphatic system and the flow of blood. A feel-really-good massage to relax and enjoy. Indulge your senses and let your knots melt away.
